HENRY AND MUDGE and the Careful Cousin

Today, I read HENRY AND MUDGE and the Careful Cousin, Level 2 from READY TO READ.

"Sometimes you'll have to visit me," said Annie.
"Sure," said Henry.
"Be sure to bring the Frisbee," Annie said. She looked at Mudge drooling on the bed.
"And be sure to bring Mudge."

Henry and his big dog Mudge are very good friends.
One day, Henry's cousin Annie comes to his home. Then, she dresses up.
She always wants to keep her everything clean, so she doesn't like to kiss from Mudge. In his room, Annie watches his fish and says "Yuck,".
Henry thinks hard about something which can make Annie happy.
Then, he suggest her to play Frisbee together.
Although this is for the first time for her, she can throw very fast.
She comes to like playing Frisbee.
They play it all afternoon. After supper they play it again until dark.
After that, Annie is sweaty and dirty and tired.
And She comes to like to kiss from Mudge.

Happy Holiday!

Hello, everyone!
Did you have a good holiday?

On Saturday, I want shopping with my mother.
I bought a birthday present for my friend.
Her birthday is July 15. I'm looking for to giving her them and I'm sure she'll like them!
On Sunday, I went to Amakusa with my friend.
First, we watched dolphins by cruiser. I took it for the first time.
Dolphins were very cute and it was very exiting!
After that, we went to the aquarium. Surprisingly, this aquarium was in the sea!!
Also, there were many kinds of fish and they were cute!
I could have a good time thanks to my friend.

Surfer!

I read Surfer!, YL 1.0 from Pearson English Readers.

I'm a good surfer - I know it - one good wave and I'll be first. Perhaps I can win that prize and get to Australia!

Nick is sixteen. Now he really wants to go to Australia to take part in surfing competition. But his parents want him to go to college before going there.

Today, I read SHREK, level 1 from Popcorn ELT Readers.

Then, Shrek comes in. 'Stop!' he says. 'Fiona, I love you!'

Shrek is an ogre and lives in a swamp which is a nice and quiet.
One day, Shrek found a donkey who likes talking a lot near the swamp.
That night, Shrek found a lot of fairy tale characters in the swamp.
They came there because of Lord Farquaad who is a very small man and not very good. So, Shrek went to Lord Farquaad's castel to keep his home silent.
Then, he asked Shrek to rescue Princess Fiona from the dragon as an exchange condition.
Shrek could rescue her and while they spent together, they came to love each other.
But she should marry Lord Farquaad.
Will they marry........?

My weekend!!

Hello, everyone!
Did you have a good holiday?

On Friday, I celebrated my friend's birthday.
I'm good at making sweets, so I made a birthday cake for her.
She was very delighted and I was very happy.
On Saturday, I played with Arisa for the first time. I always have a good day thanks to Arisa's smile☺️ And, I really want to play with her again!!
After that, we took part in freshman welcome party.
I could make many friends and have a good time.
On Sunday, I went to the cafe, MILK which is famous for pancakes with my friend.
I ate a pancake. It was very fluffy and delicious!!! I can't get enough of it!!
I think You should go there and eat it if you like sweets.
After that, we went to my house and watched a movie.
I could have a very happy holiday♥

Rosie was the meanest cow in the world and nobody liked her except Marvin. 

Rosie and Marvin were best friend.

One day, Marvin's family had to move to a new farm, so Marvin and Rosie got separated.

Marvin was very sad and lonely.

However, he could find Rosie again. Surprisingly, Rosie became too small.
Then, Marvin take her everywhere even if he goes to school.

Will Rosie and Marvin be able to live together forever?

My Holiday!!

On Saturday, I went to the zoo and botanical garden with my mother and cousin.

Thought there were not many animals because of earthquake, we had very nice time.

I rode on gondola and Ferris wheel with my cousin. It was very interesting.

Also, we had a lunch my mother made and it was very delicious!!

On Sunday, I went back home and I gave my mother flowers and present.

May 14th is mother's day!!! I went to the Karaoke with my cousin and I sang many sings.

After that, I went to the Karaoke with my cousin and I sang many sings.

I had very good holiday!!

The Earthquake

I read The Earthquake, YL 2.2 from Peanson English Active Readers.
Gabriel is a man who has a kind face and usually has a friendly smile.
He loves Silvia, but she loves Marco who is rich.
One day, Gabriel visited to Silvia to invite her to the movies.
But Silvia turned down this invitation because she had a plan with Marco.
So, Gabriel went to the theater alone, and Silvia and Marco went to the restaurant together.
Then suddenly, the earthquake happened.
Many people got injured or died because of it.
In such a situation, Gabriel and Silvia and Marco were saved.
Then, Gabriel helped many people, but Marco thought only about himself and didn't help people. I thought that Gabriel is very very kind and has a strong sense of justice.
Which man do you prefer?
I think that we can find out who the person is in tough situation.

Where's Lorena?

Today, I read Where's Lorena?, YL 1.0 from Foundations Reading Library 5.
Lorena is Alex's sister.
One day, their mother asked Alex to play with Lorena. But he didn't want to do that, and he wanted to go to the fairground to meet his friends. So he went there with her.
At the fairground, he asked Lorena to wait somewhere because he didn't want his friends to see Lorena.
After a while, he walked back there. But Lorena wasn't there. She was lost!!
Finally, he found her at their home.
He realized that he should treasure his family by this incident.
I have a brother. He always played with me when we were children. I realized how much sweet he is and came to appreciate him thanks to this book.

My Golden Week!!

Hello,everyone.

Did you have a good holiday? I had a very nice time.

First, I watched a lot of movies with my friend. For example, "Anaconda", "Pride and prejudice" and so on. They were very interesting!

Secondly, I had a barbecue with my mother and cousin.

It was very hard for us to make a fire, but we could do that and have a good time. For your information, my cousin loves meat and she ate only meat.

So I don't recommend you to have a barbecue with her.....

Finally, My cousins came to my house and I played table tennis with them all day.
It was very tired, but very very interesting!!!!

I read VAMPIRE KILLER, YL 0.8 from Oxford Bookworms Starter.
Colin Miller wants a job.
Then, he found a paper for recruitment on the street.

Surprisingly, his job was to kill vampires and he asked Colin to help him to catch and kill vampires!
Colin decided to help him, so he went to the place where Fletcher told him at midnight.

she worked for Fletcher, too.
It's time to fight with vampires!
But do they really exist?
They may possibly be next to you...

TAXI OF TERROR

I read TAXI OF TERROR, YL 0.8 from Oxford Bookworms Starter.
Jack had a new job and his colleagues gave him a mobile phone. But he didn't know how to use it.
Later that night, Jack is a prisoner in a taxi in the empty streets of the dark city.
Then, he phoned the police station by using his mobile phone.
Finally, the criminal was arrested and he could save his life thanks to his mobile phone!
I realized again how much important mobile phones.
Also I think this book's punch line is very interesting.
If you want to know it, please read this book!
