BR 2-12: Queen of the Pool

She could see Jade in the pool, sinking to the bottom. Without even thinking of her own fear, Selena jumped in to rescue Jade. Water filled her nose and mouth, but she didn't let that stop her. (p. 20)

Do you have some traumas in your life? If you have them, you may be able to get over.
In this book, a girl is afraid of water because she nearly drowned in the beach when she was a child. One day, her teacher tells students about the swimming carnival that everyone like except her. Then, everyone begins to practice swimming. She want to do that together, but it is pretty tough for her. At the time like that, she face a difficult problem that she have to fight with her trauma. Do you think that she can beat it?

I think that this book tells us that we sometimes can get over our traumas thanks for accidents. So you don't have to get over them with forcing yourselves.
