BR 3-06: Dead Cold

     This book is about detective story. I also read such a book last week, but they were very different stories.
In this book, one girl who is twenty three years old is killed by someone in a swimming pool during her vacation with her friends. They are going to the same school to be journalists. Then, they are trying to write good stories for competition during their vacation. Before she is killed, she writes something down on her notebook. It is something important. She is killed because of it. After she is killed, it has gone.
     Detective Flick Laine is asked to find criminal by her boss. At first, she meets Bill Gershon who is the Chief of Police and Flick's boss' old friend. He is a important person. They help each other to find criminal.
     Do you think they can find criminal? And where is her notebook? what is written in it? Criminal may be close by you.........
   

BR 3-05: BAD COMPANY

Shepherd looked at her watch '... in under twelve hours. I call that a good day's work. Well done us!' Webb smiled. 'Right,' said Shepherd, standing up and finishing her drink. 'I'm going to give this memory stick back to reception. Mine's another glass of red wine.' (p. 48)

     Do you like to read detective stories? This story is just detective one. One day, Helen Shepherd who is a detective inspector gets a bad news from Brian Webb who is a detective sergeant. The bad news is that a dead body was found on the beach in the morning. The dead body is Claudia Engel and she went on business trip with her manager and colleagues. In this story, Shepherd and Webb try to finger-print. While trying to find killer, they know that their company's business condition is becoming bad. Also they know that there are some problems about their relationship. So, Shepherd and Webb suspect them of a crime. Who is a killer and why did she or he kill her?
     This story is very exciting. Also I'm sure that you enjoy reading while guessing who the killer is.
If you like detective stories, you should read this one!

BR 3-04: One Day

   

     I chose this story because my partner recommended me last week. In this book, there are four stories. At first, I thought that they are different stories, but I realized that they connect each other. These four stories are about different person but they are set in the same place and same time. One evening something happened to them, then it changed all of their lives. What's happened to them?

If you want to know about it, please read this book.  

     Indeed, I was confused with separated four stories many times while reading. But I 'm sure that you can enjoy this one.

BR 3-03: Within High Fences

     'George. Yes, I had a big house before I met you. But I wasn't happy.' George began to walk down the stairs. 'But can I make you happy?' he asked. (p. 46)

     Do you like money? Do you want to be with rich person? Is money the most important thing?

     In this book, a woman whose name is Nancy falls in love with a man though she has a boyfriend. Her boyfriend, Tom is very rich, so he gives Nancy a lot of money. Indeed, Nancy became his girl friend for money. Also, Nancy likes to earn money by herself, but Tom doesn't want Nancy to work. He wants her to be with him, but Nancy is working at center.

    One day, Nancy meets George who comes Nancy's center to escape from his country. Then, Nancy and George come to fall in love. However, it is not easy to be together because Nancy has a boyfriend and George is in a dangerous and very poor.

     Do you think that they can be together, or not? This book is so pure story, so you should read it if you like love stories.
