THE BOMMYKNOCKER TREE

I read THE BOMMYKNOCKER TREE, level 29 from PM LIBRARY.

'Mr Jakob, we have to ring the Council and stop them cutting down the tree, we just have to! I promise I'll help clean up the leaves. And my friend Kali said he'd help, too.'
Scott looked hopefully at Mr Jakob's son.
'You know,' said Mr Jakob. 'I don't think we'll ring the Council.'
Scott's jaw droppedーhe couldn't believe it.

One day, Scott hears the noise. That is the noise that the tree in the street are trimmed.  After, he know that his favorite tree, bommyknocker will be cut down.
That tree is his hide out, his place to think and the place where he and his best friend, Kali spend just about every weekend.
So he can't believe it and tries to stop doing that.
He asks his parents to call Council. But the man with chainsaws arrives before Scott's parents do that.
Will Scott save the bommyknocker?
